I remember when I began going to Yoga classes. I would look at the teacher and think, how is she so peaceful and serene? I had the Yoga teacher stereotype to be some enlightened unicorn, lol. The practice brings so many great fruits, but I have learnt that letting go of the attachment to the fruits is also essential. If we strive to be somewhere more extraordinary than we are now, how can we be present with what is? In the last few weeks, I have had a spike in my mental health challenges. Life can then be a great challenge to be present, and it is easy to go down the path of distraction. Something that has helped me is doing a puzzle. It focuses me, and I love placing the piece in the right spot. The process is enjoyable and frustrating at the same time. But with patience, the puzzle will be complete. Until next time.
